Seated in one of the popular yellow buses of Lagos
going to Oshodi, almost squeezed beyond recognition, I resolved one
more time in my heart that my car is coming soon abeg. Thank goodness i sat by the window.
It’s only normal now to
see a hawker running after a moving vehicle in Nigeria but this time around I
couldn’t help but think about the fact that he probably woke up that morning
and said “Lord bless my hustle”.
I’m not saying it’s his
fault that he hawks on the street. Who am I to judge! But I have a serious
problem with hustling.
In case you haven’t noticed,
people who earn more are not those that work the hardest if not the brick
layers, hawkers, “kpom kpom” carriers should be the richest in the world. You
must work but then it’s not the work that should determine what you will turn
out to be but God. He can bless you beyond what you earn. Don’t limit God to
your salary. If you are in business, He can open several doors. If you have the
mind of a hustler, then you depend on what you can do for yourself alone which
is limiting because He can do much more. Shift your trust from that job or
business to a limitless God; a source that can never run dry, an account that
can NEVER go red, and then you will see your finances take a new turn.
Blogfam, God forbid you lose
that job, or that business collapses then wat happens? But you know God cannot
be lost, He cannot collapse or fail. It is the blessing of God that makes rich
and as a child of God, (aren’t you?) you carry the blessing. All you have to do
is recognize and be conscious of it.
Hey! what do you need or
desire, trust God today for it and take a step, price that car mehn or the
house; remember that we will testify.
Okay I know I sound like my Pastor
Have a blessed
week. muuahh!!
