Thinking like a lady…

I’m not especially a movie fan. I particularly do not enjoy action movies. In fact count me out of movies where there are ghosts, guns or blood. I believe movies are meant to be entertaining. I’ll rather read those kind of books. But when it comes to comedy and of course romance my eyes are excitedly glued to the screen. So I recently watched this undoubtedly err could I classify it as romantic? (Movie lovers please help me out here) anyways I watched an interesting movie called “think like a man and act like a lady”. I bet a lot of you have seen it. I also guess some ladies have been trying out those rules already. Some days back my neighbor was telling me how difficult it could be to follow those rules. She was referring to the 90 day and door rule. For those who haven’t seen the movie, the 90 day rule states that you must not have sex with a guy you just met until after 90 days while the door rule states that the guy you are dating must open the door of the car (or truck or trailer or keke or bike whatever!) for you. It’s not because I am impatient but I do not understand the difference between the 5 day rule and the 90 day rule because at the end of the day he gets ‘it’! My point is if you can wait for 90 days then you can wait till you get married. It is true that people don’t remember this anymore but I’ll still remind you: sex is exclusively for married couples. Yes!  The door rule is not a bad one at all in actual fact it so romantic but I imagine a scenario where I have to be somewhere and I am already so late. He comes to pick me up and of course opens the car door for me. I’m grateful. We get there and I realize everyone is waiting for me outside. I’m so embarrassed I try to open the door so I can start apologizing and he says: “don’t! Remember the rule”.

I won’t be in such a situation but really that rule can always be broken.
